Session cookie — a random ID stored in your browser to identify your session.
Chat messages — messages you send to Lu are processed to generate a response and stored to personalise future conversations.
Memory summary — a compressed summary of your context and preferences, built over time to improve Lu's responses.
Email address — only if you purchase or opt in via Gumroad. Governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.
Usage data — anonymised analytics via Vercel. No personal identifiers.

5. Data Retention

Session data: 90 days from last activity
Memory summaries: retained until you request deletion
Chat logs: retained for up to 90 days

7. Cookies

We use one session cookie (lu_session) for essential functionality, plus Gumroad third-party cookies. Decline non-essential cookies via the banner on first visit.

8. Governing Law

Governed by the laws of South Africa (POPIA). GDPR applies to EU residents.
